Mike has extensive experience in the areas of CPM scheduling, delay analysis, construction claim preparation and evaluation, dispute resolution, and change order evaluation.

Mike has analyzed multi-million dollar claims on commercial, retail, mixed-use, medical, transportation, and military projects. Mike has presented at mediation, dispute review boards, and settlement negotiations.  He has prepared expert testimony for litigation, participated in discovery requests, and drafted deposition questions.  With his specialty in complex schedule analysis, Mike has analyzed delays and damages on dozens of $100M+ projects, including a $1B dollar nuclear research facility, a $400M VA hospital, and a $2B railway extension.  Mike’s experience on these projects includes both forensic and real-time claims analysis.

Mike’s scheduling experience includes the creation of the baseline schedule for the $300M Daytona International Speedway renovation, the creation or review of monthly schedule updates for dozens of projects, and independent assessments of several 5,000+ activity schedules.  Mike is highly proficient in Oracles’ Primavera Project Management (P6) and Primavera Project Planner (P3), Microsoft Project, and Suretrak critical path method scheduling software packages, including the completion of Monte Carlo simulations for risk and weather management.

Mike is a certified instructor for the Federal Highway Administration’s National Highway Institute.  He has presented the course titled Managing Highway Contract Claims: Analysis and Avoidance to Department of Transportation personnel across the country.  He has also been the instructor for the Lorman webinar Preventing and Measuring Delays.

Mike is an AACE certified Planning and Scheduling Professional and has written several papers that have been chosen for presentation at the organization’s annual conferences.  He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Florida.
