We are seeking a consultant-level claims analyst to work in our San Diego regional office (established in 1990), located in Mission Valley. In this position you will be responsible for such tasks as monthly construction site walks, CPM schedule monitoring and review using Primavera P3 and P6 software, schedule and delay analysis, as-built schedule development (using Excel), forensic research of project documents, claims analysis, inefficiency analysis, and damage assessments. Positions are also available in our downtown Philadelphia office, and our office in Orlando Florida on Sand Lake Road.

Engineering/Construction Consultant

We provide our clients with a full range of services: scheduling, claims analysis and dispute resolution, litigation assistance, construction management/project oversight, surety support, innovative project delivery, specification writing and other technical document development services, research, and training.

Our company offers a dynamic work environment and collaborative work groups consisting of engineers, architects, specification writers, schedulers, estimators, accountants, attorneys, and construction management professionals. Candidates with relevant education and experience in these disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Assignments often last from several weeks to several years and require a variety of skills sets.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2-10 years of construction-related experience and the ability to read and comprehend plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong writing skills.
• Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree.

• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• CPM scheduling experience
• Learn on the job
• Provide quality work products efficiently

The hired individual will interact with project owners, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and attorneys. Travel may be required.

Manager of Business Development

We are currently seeking a Business Development/Sales Professional to help us continue to grow our business. To be successful in growing our client base, candidates must have the outgoing personality and professional drive necessary to make meaningful connections with industry decision makers, be able to understand their needs, and quickly determine and suggest potential ways in which we can provide services to meet their needs. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of marketing and business development best practices, and demonstrate a strong work ethic focused on consistent follow-up with clients. Our clients include public and private owners, contractors, other construction professionals, and the attorneys who represent them. Knowledge of the construction industry is a must. Contacts in the A/E/C and/or construction litigation communities are a plus. Outgoing personality, excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills; organization and leadership talents; and professional maturity are all required. A bachelor’s degree and technical background are preferred; 5-10 years of related experience are required. Position will be based out of Philadelphia and involves travel.
