The project included construction of a water intake structure in Lake Norman, an access bridge, vacuum building, compressor building, and installation of approximately one mile of 60" reinforced concrete pipe from the intake structure to the water treatment plant.
Trauner was retained to assist the contractor assert a claim for additional costs due to delays and inefficiency resulting from site access problems and differing site conditions. Trauner performed a delay and inefficiency analysis.
