This project consisted of the construction of a new education center. HAR Construction was to provide excavation; footings; concrete walls; waterproofing; underground drainage; concrete slabs; elevator pit; sump pump; and waterlines. The General Contractor /Construction Manager walked off the job.
Trauner was retained by HAR Construction, a subcontractor, to assist in the preparation of an as-built schedule, technical document review; preparation of reports, determination of entitlement and liability, and other litigation support services. Claim issues included delays for permits; contaminated soils; weather impacts due to excessive rain; change orders which impacted the schedule; and delays caused by lack of access to the job site.
